Steamboat for the Weekend :)

Saturday!!! :) The day finally came. Mum has been craving for steamboat for quite sometime. She kept bugging me to bring her to eat steamboat. Its not that i dont want to bring her but the thing is that, our regular steamboat restaurant is situated in the town area and for those of you who lives in Penang, you know how bad its the traffic especially the after working hours from 5 - 8pm. Oh well, so i suggested to mum that we cook our own home cooked steamboat and its gonna last us for the weekend till monday sometimes. Mum and I loves steamboat a lot.

Woke up around 9am due to the disturbance of the video call from dad and his showing off of him kissing Adriel my one and only one cutest nephew on earth. After the video call, mum and I headed to the market, had some light english breakfast and then to shop for the meat balls, taufu, beancurd, vegetables and etc.

Got home about an hour and helped mum to prepare for the feast and headed to Jusco, Queensbay for more marketing on Salmon, Cot Fish and for beef slice! It was really fun and oh no! because of that, i bought another wedges from Voir!!oh no!Shopping and shopping and shopping these days.

We walked around for a while and then headed home to have our steamboat for lunch and below are some pictures of our weekend steamboat which was LEGENDARY!!! It tasted really good. No added flavours and all original stuffs and of course healthy and expensive stuff. haha. More worth it than going to the steamboat restaurant. No wonder it tasted so good! :) And please be reminded that, the deco was done by me :) enjoyed preparing and spending time with mummy today! Yay! Can't wait to eat steamboat again for breakfast! A Saturday with the new toy, My Olympus camera!

Woke up this morning, did nothing but just hang around in front of my laptop downloading some great songs and did some laundry. It was a good morning as i was all charged up for what's coming throughout the day. An exciting day indeed for me. I finally got my new camera which was a free gift from citibank to my parents. :) Pink Olympus FE-370!Cool indeed coz i only need to charge the battery for 2.5 hours which was just in time before i go out for a movie with my buddy who i call 'mak'.

Went to bukit jambul golf club with mum and had lunch there while dad was playing golf. I was a hot day at first but end up heavy rain for about an hour which was really good as the rain washed my car! :)

After lunch, mum and i headed for home. I got myself ready and went to pick my mak up at her house and off we head to Gurney Plaza to catch a movie. :)

Got to gurney plaza 2.15pm and headed straight to buy the movie tickets :) Got into the cinema and the shows goes on. We watched wolvarine. Ok, we know that its an outdated movie by now by we really enjoyed the movie. The whole cinema was quite empty. Hugh Jackman!!Yummy!!!! loved him!! So man!! After a satisfying movie, as usual, we the ladies went for some shopping which turns out to be quite haha good for my mak. Below are some crazy pictures we took during shopping..laugh it man! :)

Not bad! Was really impressed with the fitting room at parkson, Gurney. So classy and spacious. It was really fun hanging with my mak. She bought herself lots of stuff too!! We were done around 7.35pm as i have to kick off for dinner. Sent mak home and headed to taman pekaka for dinner with my lovely mum, dad and uncle plus his family for some yummy yummy food!!!

The abalone..that's what i came for!lolz.

Bee Peng's Night :) @ Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant

There you go, another wedding :) Bee Peng is one of the senior at my working place and she is a down to earth person and even on her wedding day she is as crazy as ever. Went over to typ's house after work to have a short nap and then a quick shower and then went to fetch Audrey. As usual, we are late when we got to her house but thankfully we are not when we get to the restaurant.

It was all jam when we got there and was so worried whether there's parking space. We made a round through the main entrance and headed out and thank God, a strategic parking lot a short distance from the main entrance and it only costs RM2 on a saturday night.

The three of us got out of the car and headed to our yummy yummy dinner..:) It was a really noisy yet fun wedding dinner we had. Lots of laughter, lots of nice slow and fast moving songs both english and mandrin. I must say i was impressed with the band. They really have good vocals and they deserve something more than just singing in a wedding dinner!!!! :)
